Description
Moonstone is part of the feldspar group and is named after its beautiful, shimmery moonlight-like appearance. It is known as the ‘stone of new beginnings’ It reminds us that, as the moon waxes and wanes, so everything is part of a cycle of change. It is a calming stone that soothes overreactions and balances emotions. Physically it is said to affect the female reproductive cycle, due to its moon link, stabilising the biorhythmic clock and can be used to aid PMS, conception, pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding.
